DEFINTION OF THE PRODUCT: Glycerophtalic stretched paint having a satiny stretched aspect
DESTINATION OF THE PRODUCT: The Alkyd Satiny paint is a satiny paint destined to be used in the interior as a decorative finishing paint, mainly in the humid rooms (kitchens, bathrooms)
PARTICULAR ADVANTAGES:
–Excellent garnishing power allowing a satiny and stretched finish of an excellent quality. This paint is applied on a rustproof on metallic supports or on the Fixer solvent medium if the support is basically made of hydraulic binders (concrete, cement coating, etc…) It can be applied on coatings or plaster after having undergone a special treatment (impression preferably in a solvent medium). It can also be used as an impression layer on wooden supports (doors, windows, shutters, etc…)
SUPPORT:
It can be applied on all supports (basically made of hydraulic, metallic or plastic binders, after having undergone an adapted treatment (fixer solvent medium, rustproof. Wash primer, etc…)
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT BEOFRE USING IT:
Tints: white and all tints upon the request of quantities superior to 100 kg
Storage: one year in the original pack, not open and away from bad weather
Packaging: 1kg, 4kg, 30kg
Density: 1.35+- 0.1, in white, variable depending on tints
Viscosity: 80+-10 KU at 25 degrees Celsius, Krebs Stormer Viscosimeter
PRECAUTIONS OF USING THE PRODUCT:
-Stir the product well before using it.
-Apply the product on safe, dry and well-prepared products.
-It can be tinted with universal colors. Be careful not to exceed the 5%
-Avoid the application in very hot weather or in very cold weather (drying). Ideal temperatures for application vary between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius.
HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT
Application: brush or roller. It can be applied with an airless or pneumatic pistol.
Diluent: White Spirit
Dilution: Ready to use product for brush or roller.
-5% for airless pistol (pistol without air)
-10 to 15% for pneumatic pistol

CHARACTERISTICS:
Nature: Non-yellowing alkyd resins in oil
Aspect: Stretched satiny
Drying:- at 20 degrees Celsius with 60 %relative humidity
- Away from dust: 1 hour
– Dry: 3 to 4 h - Recoverable: 24 h
- Dry after 48 h
The drying of this product is directly related to the ambient humidity (hygrometry) and to the temperature.
Consumption: 6 to 8 meters squared in one kg in one layer; this consumption depends on the state of the support, the porosity of this support and on the way of application.
Brilliance: 40-50% under a 60 degree angle
Adherence: Excellent
Stretched: Good
Washability: Very good
Durability to the exterior: As a finish, it is used in the interior. In the exterior, it can be used as an impression (wooden supports) or an intermediary layer.
